While this is beginning to change, the needed effort in this area is significant. Adaptation science has also lagged behind in connecting to policy-makers’ information needs. In some of my overarching publications and advisory work, I make suggestions for how to shape the adaptation research agenda and how to better connect adaptation science to decision-making on the ground.
